Profound Services are committed to Safeguarding and have procedures in place to ensure that all our staff, learners, contractors and clients are adequately safeguarded and made aware of the processes to identify and report abuse, whether physical, sexual or emotional.

Our policy is to take reasonable steps to promote and safeguard the welfare of any child, young person or vulnerable adult engaged in any of our activities.

As a company we proactively promote safeguarding and ensure our staff receive training to maintain the knowledge and understanding required to promote and monitor key safeguarding issues effectively.

Here at Profound, we are committed to ensuring:

  • The safe recruitment and vetting of staff
  • All our learners receive induction and training on how and where to report abuse
  • All concerns and allegations of abuse are taken seriously and correctly recponded to
  • Safeguarding is linked to Profound's strategies on learner support, equality & diversity and health & safety
  • Designeted safeguarding champions are in place to co-ordinate and promote safeguarding
  • Proactively promote safeguarding to all our staff and learners via monthly promotion of safeguarding Hot Topics
